Homemade bread is one of those foods that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Our breads make the inside of your mouth smile, it's just so good. We use King Arthur flour and add no preservatives. The only machinery we use is a 6 quart Kitchenaid mixer and we make our bread one batch at a time. We bake our breads in the same kind of oven you use in your own kitchen. There aren't many truly homemade products being offered these days. With our food sources being questioned more and more I look at more local and small business to fill my pantry. We prefer to produce quality rather than quantity. We have no desire to compete with the larger bakeries.
A little about our bread.... we call it Appalachia style sourdough. It is soft, tangy with a slightly sweet taste. Our bread has a longer shelf life than some other breads. The acetic acid produced by the souring process helps the bread to last longer. You won't have to throw any of our bread away.
We bake your order after it is placed. This assures you the freshest product possible. We ship on Tuesday so your order must be placed by the preceding Saturday. We can not ship our breads no farther west than Texas.
